Trading focused buying director to drive sales and profits across hardlines categories for well known retail group. You are responsible for sourcing and maintaining supplier relationships to ensure the correct product is purchased in line with business objectives and shall manage supplier relations ensuring delivery of margins and quality.
Accountable for budgetary setting, range and space planning you must lead the team to ensure that the categories deliver against customer expectations. Ensuring that the category is always striving for a market leading range that delivers to our customer needs and the business maintains credible supplier relationships.
Interested parties must demonstrate strong relationship building skills and highly developed negotiation. You shall have a calm methodical style with the ability to use judgement and instinct to make decisions under pressure.
