Lead Demand Planner

Working for a huge international company, known for their worldwide consumer brands as well as high end business to business sales.
The company have created a new role, to manage an initial team of two people (inventory planners) to drive the Demand Planning, S&OP and Customer Collaboration. They are looking to offer this person long term career progression, increasing management responsibility and the change to shape the department.
The role will involve:
Managing customer forecasts, including a drive on face to face meetings and better collaboration
Internally building a demand plan, working with internal teams to ensure supply and inventory
Strategic development of the team and department, looking for ways to continuous improve
Ongoing SKU rationalisation, inventory reduction projects and data integrity
We are looking for:
A background in Demand Planning, including customer collaboration
Experience driving an S&OP process, working with sales and marketing
Outgoing, enthusiastic and bright
Advanced Excel skills are essential, and use of SAP is ideal
