Commercial Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen within a smaller business unit, part of a truly global FMCG organisation.
Reporting into the sales director, you will be responsible for a portfolio of premium products, selling into key retail customers, tasked with increasing shelf space, market share and profitability of an innovative range of consumer goods.
In a commercial role, you will be heavily involved in promotional activity, working closely with functions such as marketing, supply chain and finance, ensuring you are a true champion for the business, gaining incredible amounts of autonomy and exposure along the way.
Working in a fast paced and energetic environment, you will be expected to think on your feet, making quick, well calculated decisions, to ensure you make things happen. This is a unique business environment, which offers fantastic rewards, and there are great opportunities for development and progression, within this business unit, and within the wider organisation.
Candidates will be educated to degree level or equivalent, and be excellent negotiators. More so, you will possess superb commercial acumen and the personality to build rapport with colleagues and customers. An FMCG background is preferable, but not essential, it is more about having the attitude, desire and aspirations to work in an autonomous and challenging business environment.
