General Store Manager, North East & North West

An excellent opportunity to join a major high street retailer as they up-skill & grow their store management team during a time of genuine growth. There are opportunities across the North of the UK, especially around the retail hubs of Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds & Newcastle. Working in a multi-product, big box environment the complexity in store is significant and a challenge to manage, the unique service proposition genuinely sets this business apart from the competition.
The role of store manager will lead the senior team in a unit that will typically be 15 - 20,000 sq ft with an annual turnover of £4-8m. You will be tasked with driving your business forward in an autonomous environment - the success of the ambitious changes that are currently taking place in the business depend on store managers being able to inspire their teams and gain buy-in to the company story.
We would be delighted to hear from individuals with related experience in big-box retailing, coupled with the commercial savvy & ambition to take on a big role in a challenging environment. You must be very people focused with an in-depth understanding of the customer journey.
