Senior National Account Manager - Tesco

A medium sized FMCG business, part of a global group is seeking an experienced FMCG account manager to take control of Tesco.
Reporting to the sales director, you will write and implement joint customer business plans for the company's largest account.
In an autonomous role, you will be fully P&L responsible, and tasked with increasing market share through negotiations, and securing increased listings and distribution. With budget responsibility, and exposure to all aspects of commercial, you will play an integral part in the plans to achieve considerable growth and profit.
Furthermore, you will manage 1-2 direct reports, taking responsibility for their progress and development within the business.
In a home based role, you will be expected to travel to the south east based head office two to three a week.
Candidates will come from a branded FMCG background, and possess strong grocery experience. Recent Tesco experience would be a distinct advantage. Excellent commercial acumen, strong negotiation & category skills and a proven track record of success are essential attributes.
