Our client is a leading distributor of high quality ambient food products to all the major multiples. Established for over 20 years their expertise is unrivalled. The range covers over 200 products and the business handles 20 million customer units of product a year. Whilst the business and all team members are ambitious and eager to achieve significant business growth in 2010, the environment is inclusive and centred around strong team work and ethics.
The Commercial Manager role will have sole responsibility for full P&L management of Sainsbury, as well as focusing on developing other key grocery accounts. With the ability to work across all functions and be involved in all the business processes, the successful candidate will be highly commercial, financially savvy, a great communicator and whilst a strategic ability is essential, so is the willingness to get involved in the detail.
The ideal candidate will have had National Account Management experience within top 4 grocery and ideally Sainsbury. A food background is preferred but not essential. The role is office based near Manchester although home working is also possible.
