Fashion Buying Manager

As a fashion buying manager you will be responsible for sourcing, nurturing and maintaining supplier relationships to ensure the correct product is purchased, delivered and enjoyed by our customer.
You will be accountable for management of the buying team, dealing with fast paced trend driven fashion items. It is imperative you work closely with marketing to ensure all promotional plans are maximised and that stock planners are on message to deliver the required levels for the promotional plan.
Your objectives are to ensure that product forecasting is on track and in line with sales data and promotional activity. Warehouse levels should be maintained and monitored and there must be a sense of harmony and ongoing clear communication with the supplier base.
We are interested to hear from individuals with experience at buying manager or controller level that have managed a full buying team. The business is fast paced and prides itself for being quick to action trends therefore high volume trend driven experience would be advantageous.
Your track record must demonstrate strong negotiation skills and numeracy skills. The business enjoys a positive creative working environment so we seek people who have a passion for buying and enjoy being a team player.
