Global health and beauty retailer requires a senior merchandiser to support growth of new categories.
In this role you will manage a team of merchandiser working in partnership with the buying team supporting them in making appropriate decisions to maximise sales, margin and income, whilst minimising stock risk.
You will be accountable for managing the category range review process to ensure the best use of space across all market groups and shall work with supply chain to manage category stock and intake to ensure that sales are maximised within stock targets.
As senior merchandiser you will be measured against category and market group sales, % margin, cash margin, company and category stock holding in line with stock budget and timely delivery of category range reviews. You must ensure that category stock holding is in line with budget and forecast and manage intake and open to buy accordingly.
A key success driver for the business is availability therefore your team shall be accountable for stock holdings, reducing slow moving and discontinued stock in line with company targets and promotional performance vs. Forecast.
We are interested to speak with merchandisers with experience in managing a team and delivering within a retail environment. You must have excellent attention to detail, ability to coach and develop a team and ability to work in partnership with the commercial departments to deliver results.
