This leading FMCG business is a global leader with a portfolio of market leading brands that span across several categories and as a result of an internal promotion they are seeking a Business Development Manager to work on a top 4 grocery retail account. You will be responsible for managing a key strategic portfolio that represents huge growth potential and in turn a platform for the right candidate to hit the ground running and make genuine impact.
Reporting directly into a Senior National Account Manager, you will have complete autonomy for joint customer business plans, and will be tasked with increasing revenue through key negotiations with head office buyers, and improving market share through working closely alongside the category and insights teams.
Candidates must have a proven track record in either account / category management gained in a leading branded FMCG business. Alternatively, you could even come from a buying background and may be seeking a new challenge. Excellent negotiation, influencing and analytical skills are a must.
